Listen to anyone who's been in the sports betting space for any length of time, they'll tell you mostly the same thing: Don't bet same game parlays!
Often referred to by their initials, SGPs, these involved wagering multiple outcomes on a single game or contest. When combined into a parlay, every aspect of the bet must win. If any outcome does not come to fruition, the entire SGP is a loser.
Spreadapedia tweeted his opinion on those pushing these types of bets.

Many of the US regulated sportsbooks are pushing these.
Founder of CapWise, a sports betting analytics venture, called out these companies via his Twitter page.
"Gotta love how a certain book shoves SGPs down your throats day after day. But then they don’t allow you to bet an SGP in the Padres/Giants game today when they’re aware there’s a good chance it won’t work in their favor. Actually hilarious tbh."

Deeno tweets that some of his beloved radio personalities have now sold their souls to SGPs.
"ppl shilling for these books on tv/radio just as bad. advertising dollars over everything i suppose. but some radio host who's never talked betting in 15 years of listening now telling me his SGP of the day is sickening."

As with most things, not everyone agreed with the sentiment.
